Three indicted for their alleged roles in a brawl and shootout at a casino in Sparks, NV last September, killing Jeffrey "Jethro" Pettigrew, the president of the Hells Angels San Jose chapter. Gary Stuart Rudnick, former vice president of the Vagos Los Angeles chapter, Ernesto Gonzalez, another Vagos,is accused of shooting Pettigrew four times in the back and is being held without bail on an open murder charge, and Cesar Villagrana, a Hells Angel member accused of shooting two Vagos that night, face second-degree murder charges for their role. "It was a madhouse on that casino floor," said Sparks police Officer Jean Marie Walsh, a 22-year veteran of the force. In addition to a total of five gunshot wounds, Pettigrew suffered multiple stab wounds in the face, said Dr. Ellen Clark, the Washoe County medical examiner who performed the autopsy. She said his nose had been sliced and one nostril was "almost completely detached from the nose." Some of the latest news on motorcycle clubs for October 2, 2011 A University of California San Francisco police sergeant spotted Ernesto Manuel Gonzalez, 53, reputed Vagos member from San Francisco Thursday and took him into custody. Gonzalez is a suspect in the shooting death of San Jose Hells Angels chapter president Jeffrey "Jethro" Pettigrew last week at a casino in Sparks, NV. Raymond Foakes, 48, of Rohnert Park and Josh Leo Johnson, 35, of Santa Rosa, both reputed members of the Sonoma County, CA chapter of the Hells Angels have been charged with six others for their alleged roles in a $10 million mortgage fraud scheme for the purchase of marijuana grow houses. Foakes is a former president of the Sonoma County Hells Angels and recently served a prison sentence for a 2002 brawl with a rival motorcycle gang at a casino in southern Nevada in which three people died. The defendants have pleaded not guilty. Hell's Angels motorcycle gangs have been outlawed from the German city of Frankfurt. State authorities banned the bikers after accusing of them of criminal activity and seizing control of the streets. For September 25, 2011 The trial of four full members of the Hells Angels – including leader Brian Sandberg – and 12 henchmen has taken six months and was based mostly around the testimony of a 25-year-old informant. The 15 individuals were convicted of attempted murder and assault after having carried out four shootings, planning a further two as well carrying out assaults using weapons against rival immigrant gangs in Copenhagen, Denmark. Police warn of escalating gang war with some Hells Angels on one side in Vancouver, BC Canada. The Gang Task Force warned that anyone associated with the Dhak and Duhre crime groups could get caught in an escalating gang war. Supt. Tom McCluskie said gang investigators "have reason to believe these people are being targeted by other criminal groups." The prosecution droped several charges in upcoming Hells Angels mega trial in Montreal, QC Canada. More than 155 Hells Angels were arrested in 2009.
